IOC : Inbound OutBound Communication

Gekende Issues

• Verslikt zich bij grote aantallen
  • Zowel bij ontvangst ( API )
  • Zowel bij verwerking ( Orchistration op SQL )

Mogelijke oplossingen te bekijken met het team

• Inbound
  • API : versnellen van de saves ?
    • eventueel meerdere inbound Api's maar elk met eigen Saga zodat deze niet moet worden bepaald
  • Enterpise Bus
    • Eigen reader werkt dan op eigen snelheid ( trager, maar geen verslikking )
• Verwerking
  • Opzet
    • Voor kleine volumes en moeilijke workflows is inderdaad Orchistration  aangeraden, maar zover ik hier kan zien zitten we in de omgekeerde wereld
      • Veel workflows maar simpele
      • Grote volumes
    • Is het een idee om Choreo te gaan gebruiken?
      • Ja, elke processor moet nu weten waarheen, maar da weten we nu ongeveer ook
      • Voordeel is dat de Orchestrator ertussen uit is ( 1 process om naar volgende stap te gaan)
      • Nadeel is dat de flow gekend moet zijn in de processors

 ThroughPut issues MassMailing 

First of all
IOC is not initially made for this : See deny of Mass Mailing functionality in the past


Second : IOC is at this moment indeed a Single Access Point application that relies on a Single Access Point Api of SharePoint ( EDC ) for saving the mails as File and then sending the mail


Solution proposals
1) get mass mailings out of IOC as current Setup
use 1 application to create the files in batch, High Thread, Queue
*** this even can be setup to run in advance bulk import into EDC through Bulk import module ( See EDC Bulk Import solution : Proposal PowerShell bulk import from folder )
** this even can be setup to run in advance use IOC to send the bulk mail from files/folder this again is then only 1 message that is handled by IOC but processing can be done by high threaded processing as it's file to mail


2) get the enterprise bus ready
this way we can alter the setup of IOC ( this is already prepared by default by nServiceBus) to use multi-instances of processors so throughput is higher issue is here still that IOC must do all tasks and that is a FIFO handling
waiting to get the file waiting to safe the file in EDC ( using API is one-By-one method)
** then finally sending the mail ?

Priority on Messages : Sql Service Broker ( check with Dev Lead and Team Lead for impact )
HCF ( High Capaity Fluxes ) Seperation and Choreo : No xtra research needed ( Team Lead : OK )
