Berget is the annual airsoft events organized by the company Berget-Events.
Berget is an airsoft-game for anyone who loves airsoft beyond Speedball, like authentic military feel and props.
Berget Events provides camps for all factions with the necessary living logistics.
Participants work together in big teams and each team has a military structure and overall objectives that the participants must follow.
We put a lot of focus on the integration between LARP and airsoft-elements to create more dynamic gameplay.
During the event, you have the opportunity to experience firefights with hundreds of players at the same time, well organized military bases, airstrikes, bunkers, attacks on vehicle convoys and maybe even Airsoft tanks fighting.
If this is your first Berget-game you need to carefully read all the information on our website and also the Veterans corner in our forum.
Berget is not like a Sunday game on a small field where you get action every 10 minutes. The game area is big with demanding terrain and you need to be ready to walk long distances.
After choosing your team you will be placed in a military structure with officers and commanders. You will always be placed in the same squad/platoon as your friends as long as you register with the same team-tag.

BERGET 16 - 2018
We are very excited to present the plans for our upcoming Berget game in June 2018. The story will be a direct follow-up on last years event and many units will return this year. As we have done previous years, we will put a lot of effort into balancing the teams to make sure it will be an equally challenging and action packed experience for all sides.
Tickets will run out fast, so please make sure to have a 2nd choice for your team since tickets to some teams/units might run out during the first few hours of ticket release.
Many of our returning players have seen the progress in the digital transformation trend both in Berget and airsoft in general. This Berget game will continue with improvements in communication and technology.
New for this year is that there will be a large cluster of capture points and buildings creating a “factory” that will be one of the main objectives for the teams to control. The team that holds this area will get a “main battle tank unit” with several tanks / armored vehicles at the disposal for their Command. As long as this team controls the area this team will have access to tanks and also respawns / repairs for the tanks. The tanks will therefore be a valuable resource for the team controlling it and can turn the outcome of the battle.
We will continue to upgrade and expand the capture points system to make sure players have a quick way to know which respawns their team is currently holding through their mobile phones.
We will also produce more AT4 and TOW units, which will be available to all sides to meet the current demand. However, with the game balance and previous experience for mechanized players in mind, we will increase reload time and balance hit-points for vehicle armour levels.
During the upcoming months we will rework many rules regarding tanks, vehicles and BAVS to make sure that the game rules are balanced and fun for both infantry and mechanized players.
Rules regarding tanks will be upgraded with strict security measures and one tank will have limited “mine clearing” capability to be able to remove mines from roads.
The mercenary unit will be stronger and play a key role during this event and will therefore have more tickets available than last year.

Background
During the end of the bloody Black Gold battle, UPIR launched a surprise attack on the northern NAF Forces, resulting in a large unit of the NAF being trapped behind enemy lines in an area north of Tamm Valley, along with the civilian oil workers they protected..
As a result, NAF launched a large offensive in the area, managing to break the encirclement and reach the cut off forces. UPIR used their heavy weapons and tanks to push back NAF, and tactically destroyed roads in the area to hinder enemy movements. By using money and guns as bribes, UPIR also made deals with the local mercenary units to aid their war effort and used them for guerilla tactics along with their own offensive.
After Several weeks of fierce battles, NAF managed to destroy the fortified ammo depot. In a daring operation they rescued and evacuated the civilian oil workers from the area via helicopter. Even if UPIR failed to hinder their workers to be evacuated from the area of operations, they pushed the NAF forces back and quickly overwhelmed them with their Heavy Tanks and Mercenary units, forcing them to retreat.

Recent events
While fighting the UPIR Forces, NAF Command realized that the support of local Mercenaries were a threat that they had underestimated. A steady flow of military equipment, tanks and armored vehicles reinforced the UPIR forces during the battle. After the successful evacuation of civilian oil workers, NAF intelligence began interrogating some captured Mercenary fighters.
The interrogations resulted in intelligence that there is an old decommissioned tank factory not far north from the current AOR. Civilian contractors was said to have reopened the factory. It is used to produce and repair tanks, but it’s unclear who is controlling the factory at this time and the current production rate.
Before the NAF Command could verify the intelligence, a news team known as Tamm Valley Times broadcasted a live TV and Radio story from the factory area thus confirming the existence of the factory and its operational status. The main objective for both NAF and UPIR is now to redeploy units to the factory area and secure the production and the necessary local resources to build and repair tanks.
Due to limited resources and supply, NAF units consist mostly of Infantry and light mechanized units with very little anti-tank capability, thus vulnerable to tanks and armored vehicles.
This will be the decisive move for both battle worn sides, the one who manage to control this factory will control both the production of tanks and also the capability to protect and control the oil fields in the region.
